Beeeeer

Another night in Jacksonville. My new home away from home. Back for more cheerleading (the last of the season) and glitter. Yesterday was setup and a minor amount of competitions. After that we went drinkin'. I mean DRINKIN'. Yeah, thats what I meant. The beer mugs were 25oz. In 4 hours I drank 5 of them and then a pint. 141oz of Newcastle Brown. I am proud. I woke up this morning bright eyed and bushy tailed and still hammered. I had a hearty breakfast and a few ibuprofen. 1458 bottles of water and coffee. Now I sit and wait for the whip cracks and bell dings to begin. Ready, OK.

my computer got sick. i had to send it away for a while to get better. now i am using one from work. a spare laptop. damn it all. thankfully i back up all of my things all the time so i have them all no matter what. its good to be neurotic.

i got my new phone in the mail today. its good. i like it.

Well Shit!

The only time its not awesome to be rocking in some cross ocean gig is when Tool is rocking some cross town gig. They play home one week after I leave it.

New toys

I got this today.

I got it 40 bucks cheaper. If it does what it says, I will be able to call home for no extra costs. Cheap and cheap. A phone line as long as there is wireless internet. Awesome.

truckin, again

all done in jacksonville for about ten days. heading back to richmond in the meantime. in georgia right now. not gonna be home til late tonight.

yesterday i totally watched 4 movies. im going to the UK soon. i know this because tyler knows this.

relief

turns out it wasnt my pee. it was the stall. my pee didnt smell bad last nite or this morning. when i went back to that same stall, i smelled that same smell. whew.

i cant wait to be home. my eyes had seen so little of it before leaving again. i did not have enough of my friends.

back to cheerleadin'. in sunny jacksonville FL. rock it. past few days.... went flying with my richmond bossman (he recently got his pilots license) and watched the departed with some friends. it was freakin retarded good. played wii for the first time and enjoyed it a lot. rode in a truck 13 hours to florida. i want mmmbop back.

underwear

so a hole placed its self in my favourite jeans. in the taint region. made me sad. in order to still wear them without lots of flesh showing, i picked up some boxer briefs. ive always been a briefs guy but let me tell you something.... walking around your apartment in boxer briefs is a whole lot less retarded feeling that just in briefs. today is day off #2.

home

i came home last nite and at 2am went to drink with friends. tonite, i went to drink with friends. tomorrow i have plans to drink with friends. my friends are cool. i know them. home. its comfortable.

driving, agin

All finished with the shows. In a truck. Riding right now after my 5 hour shift. We drove all day yesterday too. Hopefully I will be done and in T town by 9 tonight. Fly back to Richmond tomorrow. Yay.

Same city

Tonight was a big deal. lots of press, lots of celeb guests. Who cares. The big deal to me was that Pat McGee Band played NYC too. We hooked up after our shows and had a few drinks. I love them. Deeply. Like family, like brothers. I love them. Sorry I missed my CharDog. Bars close at 4. Bite that Virginia!!

Who likes good wine?

Day off two days ago. Drove to Allentown (which always gets Billy Joel stuck in my head) with full intent to enjoy the second half of the day. We got in and I geeked around for a few minutes on my computer while Buffa (guitar tech) checked into two rooms that had people in them already. Funny. He tricked me into going into one of them without telling me it was full of some strange girls stuff. After a while I went to TGI Fridays with my pal Bex. As a way to be nice and play a joke we stopped at a wine store. Buffa is big into wine I guess, so we picked him up a bottle of wine... and a box. When we got to his room to hang out for a bit we only showed him the box. His face showed bewilderment. Eventually we gave him the bottle and he looked relieved.

Yesterday was the Allentown show. They oversold it by 400. The place was busting at the seams. The firemarshalls were freakin and we had to start the show 30 minutes late because we had to shift the crowd over in order to make a walk way for the band. Crazy.

I am happy here.

So its been two days I think, maybe one more than that since I keyed in a bunch of useless things about useless things that Im doing in this useless world, so I am back and better than ever... on that note, I decided that maybe right now I'm too good to write. It would make your eyes bleed with awesomeness. I've decided to let someone fill my shoes for the nite.

nancy boy says just type. i'm sure he wants me to tell you how awesome he is so i'll just get that over with first. he's pretty freaking kick-ass - in a pansy sort of way. nah, just kidding. i love him. mrs h, you did a good job.

backing up to the last blog, monday we had a new guy join us. long day at the office. bryan went back to the hotel and watched a random movie.

tuesday was a shorter day at the office with lots of new gear. steak was indeed as good as it sounded - dinner at morton's was fab. bryan ate half a cow and i had lobster which he tried for the first time and loved. i wore my ninja gear, we bought beer (for amy - magic hat #9, bass, newcastle brown), watched a few episodes of 30 rock ... word to the wise: benadryl and alkeehall don't mix if you want to stay awake.

wednesday was load out followed by bryan drinking about 60 gazillion beers (magic hat fat angel, bass), more 30 rock (he spat his beer across the room, but don't worry mrs h - he cleaned up), general craziness:



then we stayed up until 6am being dumb and perfecting the design that will be gracing all of your christmas gifts. enjoy!



thursday we ROCKED. show was amazing and the crowd was LOUD. bryan worked his socks off and did a stellar job on his first show. more episodes of 30 rock, more beer (corona - VILE), but an earlier night so no crazy pics. word to the wise #2: 4 hrs sleep, 2 hrs driving, 13 hrs working and corona don't mix if you want to hear 30 rock over snoring.

friday we rocked again. show was even better. gps didn't work so we hung out in the truck on the side of the road for half an hour at 2am which was just lovely. more 30 rock (oh what a life we lead!), more beer (magic hat #9 again - love it), more craziness ...





tomorrow we rest.
