sorry

so its been 5 days since i posted. in that time i did a lot of promo. a couple of shows. not really any days off. i bought a couple of cds, a movie, a video game, some xbox stuff. i got a little video camera for it so that i can take my picture and add it to my golf game. it totally looks just like me on my golf video game. its crazy, if i can remember i will take a picture of it and let you see.

im cute. i know this cus a fan wanted to take a picture with me and two nights in a row i got phone numbers. nothing will come of that, its just nice to think that people out there want to jump your bones.

right now is a day off in chicago. two shows in a row this weekend. a national anthem at white sox. my only friend here moved home. sniff sniff. ive just been playing video games on the bus alone all day long.

weve had two birthdays on the crew this week. we got a cake. neat.

making a bad day good

the chance in poughkeepsie is a crap hole. its small. no tolerable dressing rooms. just not much about it is any good. so i, for the first time on this tour, found a beer store. i spent a crap pile of money on my favourite beers. i stocked up. it made me giddy. after the show which didnt have showers) i cracked open a bomber of arrogant bastard and made my day 3453456 times better. on the way out of town we stopped at wal mart. i got a new flashlight, rechargeable battery packs for my xbox controlers, deodorant, toothbrushes, and some pint glasses. i like to look at my beautiful beer when i drink it and lately i have even been able to do that. so now i have 4 on the bus.

today is a day off in another place. our two buses are parked outside of the hotel next to two more buses. seems as if they are past contestants of so you think you can dance. i guess they are out thinking they can dance for some people in selected cities. new heroes and the office and 30 rock this week. awesome.

i ate at mortons last nite. awesome. bex took all of the crew out. such a nice girl. cant even put it into words.

new tech today, hes gonna be rockin drums from now on and i will be working with my guy ike. good times good times.

more ohio

last night was DC. dc is close to home. 90 miles, but closer than ive been. i ate dinner when my friend carrie. i got to see my pat mcgee band buddies after the show. i beat another song on guitar hero. i drank beer and slept til one today. now i have a day off in ohio. i want to buy another game. i want mondays to be game day.

also, i showed everyone on our bus the pen trick and everyone calls their pajama pants "magic pants" now. awesome.

vending machines

so im in my hotel. im thirsty. there are two bottles of water on the desk but they charge three bucks to your room per bottle if you open them. i dont want to have to hassle with that.... vending. i get a bunch of quarters out of my bag and head down the hall. i stick in the buck seventy five it wants and press the button and it spit out my change. i tried again, another choice... nothing. im in a tall building so i say to myself that it will be faster to go up a floor on the stairs than wait on the elevator. i have to try another vending machine. i get up to the 22nd floor and its only ice. i go up again, only ice. up one more, nothing. up one more, only ice. up again, another pepsi machine. i stick in my money, nothing. it stole my money. so im sitting on my bed drinking a 3 dollar bottle of waters from the room. awesome.

"day off"

i just woke up for a four hour nap. i needed it. after the show last nite i had a couple of beers and then passed out. about an hour later i woke up and loaded in a tv show. after that was done, i went and did another tv show. so yeah, i woke up at 4:30am and got back to the hotel 12 hours later. i passed out instantly and woke up about 30 minutes ago. i am SOOOOOO glad we didnt have a show today too.

the security guard from the jerry springer show has his own tv show now. is this the world we are coming to? new seasons of most all of my shows start this month. i am happy.

day two

okay, were actually on the buses now. the key ingredient... xbox 360. installed as soon as i walked on the bus yesterday we (i) have done nothing but sit in the back lounge. paul joins my party and we play nothing but tiger woods on day one. ill not talk about the show.... just cus you dont care. more importantly, day off in ohio. end of day off we head out and pass a wal mart. we stop. i go in and buy guitar hero for xbox. holy fucking shit balls batman. now there are 4 of us crammed in the back lounge trading the guitar back and forth. beer and little plastic guitars. damn it all life is good. pictures will follow soon.

sorry for the delay

sorry, i know ive been slack. in the past few days i packed up rehearsals,
flew to new york,

did a tv show, flew to nashville on the same day, had dinner with the crew and sucked down three beers for the first time in what feels like forever. now i am in nashville on a day off. my big bag of clothes and my xbox are in the truck which wont get in until tonite. sad. id like to be playing my xbox today. i guess it can wait. tomorrow is the first real show of the tour. i am giddy. so far i really love the new tour manager and i already know im love the sound guy. now i just need to meet the guitar tech.... fingers crossed.

xbox

so im communicating with a person in tulsa via craigslist.com in hopes of buying a cheap xbox 360. its a must have for the tour bus. if i get that.... i have to get tiger woods 2008.

a week later

yeah, not much action from me lately. ive been going to bed before even pulling out my computer.....

life changed gears again 4 days ago with a flight to tulsa. whoever thought tulsa could kick things into high gear? i got here late at night and checked right in. bex and i had a few drinks in the hotel lobby bar. 3.2% max. stupid bible belt. bedtime. wake up early and go get the penske. load it up and head to the rehearsal space. on the way out i hit a gate. damn it. i suck.

for the most part its been practice as usual. sitting around stringing guitars, cleaning cymbals and listening to hanson. the nights havent been bad. two nights ago i went to a bar that has lots of beer. they sell custom mugs. i ordered one that says muff. last nite i saw the bourne ultimatum. maybe my stories will get better as i move back and forth a little more. until then.... yup.
