goodbye locksley

so birmingham was the last show for our opener after two months on the road. as a way of saying good bye we pulled some pranks. his drums sticks were dipped in baby oil before they went on, his heads were covered in flour. we dipped their vocal mics in chili powder and handed out newspapers for the crowd to read during their first song (thanks to PMB for that idea). also, plastic forks were handed out and thrown at them during the second song. all in all good fun. a day off in alabama followed, lots of video gaming. a day in new orleans today, even more video gaming.

tomorrow pat mcgee band plays the upstairs of the same venue as us as soon as we are finished playing. let the good times roll.

so this show really was kinda neat. its was a big deal. quite a few thousand people there for the thingie. we only played three songs but it was fun. not as much fun as last nite though. paul and bex and i went out for drinks. i got hammered. gonna go to a hot dog place later today. we rode to the stadium in a limo. last nite we sang disney songs. its cool.

im sorry

so well over a week has gone by. i havent shaven once. so its not like im only skipping the blogs. ive been really busy. for the past three days i have worked from like early AM to late late at night.

richmond show was awesome. one of the only times i can ever remember people yelling my real name from the crowd. felt weird and good. thanks fam. most of the past ten days or so has been a blur. we knocked down to one bus. now there are two xbox 360s on our bus.

im in toronto now. getting ready to head over to a sound check. we have a two song show in the morning and then were off here the rest of the day. maybe if were lucky we will go to see cirque. oh yeah, savannah is for becca.

a new holiday

i declare today national "im in richmond for one day" day. i got a hair cut. i got my mail. i got new tags for my car. i stocked up on beer. i visited lots of people. whew. i needed this. just a day. all for me. thank you.

a week goes by

okay okay okay, im sorry. like ive always said, time off brings less blogs. while i havent really had time off... we havent been playing shows. after dallas one of our own had to be checked into the hospital. finally we are back out. everything is okay.

while in tulsa on our days off i took "the walk". for those of you who dont know what the walk is, im sorry. for those that do... two miles in bare feet left blisters. i ran a ton of errands and fellowshipped with the crew some more. i caught up on heroes and the office and a few other shows i was behind on. i watched blades of glory as well. today we are back in memphis. another day off. tomorrow we start playing again and then i get a day off in my homeland of richmond. yee haw. sorry no funny pictures or videos. ill work on that. i love you all, kick start my heart. i hold the key to the worlds security, any man of mine. midget toss.
